"Marriage"

I've written a few topics on marriage before but when I read what I wrote, it bored the hell out of me! So maybe this time I'll write something a little different my thoughts about how people handle marriages nowadays at least not in Malaysia.

I just learn more that couples decide to get married with 1001 reasons. Some are with good reasons and purposes, others with some really ridiculous ones. The most common one i've heard is that the couples decide to get married coz they've been going out for quite sometime, so they think "it's time" for them to seal the relationship legally. It's just 'the next step', they say. Meanwhile sometimes the relationship itself isn't great at all. Some marry coz of business merger purpose, others with their own creative and interesting reasons. Late last night I was watching Discovery Channel and I can never forget what I'd learned, in some countries marriage pratices isn't just a constitution BUT legalizes 2 people to Kiss and have Sex and they have some kinda paperwork to claim the kids when things turn bad.

Ever watched any crazy reality shows (the bachelor, the bachelorette, joe millionaire, who wants to marry my dad, etc...), seems like people don't regard marriage seriously anymore. "Til death do us part' does those vows mean anyting anymore?

Now... and as for me, I do know now that:-

1. good women DO exist! (I'm keeping one myself)
2. good things DO happen! (Luckily I can fcuk & kiss before marriage)
3. someonewill go the distance just to make the person happy, don't underestimate the power of love.
4. you really need to be happy within in order to make the other person happy.
5. when it comes to life and getting married, time is running short before i hit 30. (270days left)
