People asked me which part of China. I'm in Suzhou High Tech Village, very similar to Putrajaya/Cyberjaya. The Suzhou High-Tech Zone is east of Suzhou, adjenct to Shanghai. Many foreign enterprises such as the Fortune 500s and Taiwan investment come here.
We went to an area near the Ji Chang Road (or Airport Road) in Suzhou. It is a street in the city of Suzhou, but named after the Hong Qiao Airport. It is funny that people in Suzhou can access the airport more convinient than some in Shanghai. It is true.
Tall residential areas and massive town houses and villas around the lake area. I'm staying in one of the apartment facing the lake. There are new business centers and commerical areas. Suzhou gave me and impression of a new and modern Shanghai . Wait. It is better than KL!
I just got back from dinner not long ago, the driver drove me down town of Suzhou and this place suprised me with 5.5 million people cramp in this small city. Imagine the night life. yea imagine! True enough old women's saying Suzhou has the prettiest girls in China. I will agree on that. It's hard not to look elsewhere without catching a sight of a women infront of your path. I can see why some senior Malaysians (malaysian man who has difficulty in finding a wife locally) prefer to stay back and get married there or even bring back a wife from China. In every square inch there is 4 people standing in it, picture the crowd. It's an eye opener for me.
With the amount of Malaysians here, I'm lucky to enjoy many local food like roti canai, murtabak and nasi lemak. That's good enough for me. Talking about beer, dirt cheap not that i had drinks but they displayed prices outside pubs premises. It's so cheap i can bath myself in it. Well that's all for today.... gotta get some rest before sun rise and oh yah sun rises at 5.00am here during summer.
